Or, Revenge of the Wal-Mart $5.50 bin. Had another lucky dip where I found three or four movies wanted on the request thread. This morning's entry comes from page one. smonsterbite wanted caps of three scenes from the Christian Slater pirate-radio vehicle Pump Up the Volume: Hard Harry on the mike, shirtless Nora, and the helicopter chase at the end. I have 153 widescreen DVD caps, unretouched, up on photobucket. Of course there is some boobage in the Nora scene, and remember this movie is in love with Christian Slater's scrawny chest, you have been warned! Sample and link under the cut.

Hey everyone, I have a question. I just got a DVD-ROM recently and since, I have been going batty at the thought of doing my own screen capping. But I'm not sure if it's the DVD or whatever programs I use that fail when I try to cap. Whenever I go to "prt scr" it won't paste in any imaging programs, or they sometimes come out distorted. Do any of you have any tips, variables?

The Young Ones: 1.2 - "Oil"

I said I would be doing every episode and, since my weekend starts the minute I get home on Thursdays, I should finish pretty soon. 198 screencaps on this one. If you'd like more of a certain scene, let me know and I'll be more than happy to get it done.

Zanna Don't starring Jai Rodriguez

Zanna Don't has a cult following -- if you get it, you get it; if you don't, you won't. It's freaky and strange and campy. It stars Jai Rodriguez before he got famous in Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (he's Culture).

Also, the only known recording is extremely poor quality, made by someone who snuck a camcorder into the theater. If you're hoping for good shots, go hunt for some publicity stills. If you just want a ton of Zanna Don't screenshots, then you're in the right place.

With Photoshop, most of these grievances can be changed. Are you gonna get wallpapers or backgrounds out of this? Nope. But you can definitely get icons, and if you're good enough, you can get them big enough for medium-sized FO signs. But use Photoshop before trying to do anything with them.
