Jetta commercial - Big Day
Apr. 5th, 2004 03:24 pmsleepall-day.livejournal.comHere are some caps for that Jetta commercial that was requested awhile back! Sorry it took me so long, but the post was so buried under so many others that I just forgot about it.
I put all the caps under the LJ cut because i just got an email from photobucket saying i'm about to go over my bandwidth... heh.
Someone also asked how to do it... well, I took the URL and opened it in Quicktime, under File - Open URL in new player. Then you pause it, go to edit - copy, and then paste it into whatever graphic program you use. I like capping in Quicktime, it's so much easier to toggle the little bar to get whatever frame you want :)
By the way - i really liked the commercial, it was cool! So if anybody is planning on using the caps to make any graphics, can i see them? Thanks!

Help with PowerDVD
Apr. 2nd, 2004 05:44 pmsecondworry.livejournal.comHey! I have windows xp and I have PowerDVD. The first time I used it, I wasn't able to screencap it. When I did, it would just show up as a black square. Then I tried a few days later and I was able to screencap it and get the picture. It's been about a week or more since then and I'm trying to screencap a movie again and the blackbox is showing up instead of the picture. Can anyone help me with this? I want to be able to screencap on PowerDVD. Thanks!!!

I've noticed that a few of you have started to zip all you screencap files. I'm able to zip them (using a sample version of winzip i downloaded) but I'm not sure how to upload it on to the web so people can download.
Also Do you guys prefer screencaps being posted in a zip file or uploaded to photobucket for you to look at/save? Thanks.

Mar. 31st, 2004 01:19 pmalannahrose.livejournal.comExcuse the slightly off-topic post here, but since today is Icon Makers Appreciation Day, I just wanted to extend that a bit and thank all of the people here who help make icon making easier by creating screen caps. I know that in the short time I've been a member here, this group has been INVALUABLE and I'm constantly amazed at the generosity, helpfulness and sharing spirit that I've found here. As I don't have the means to make screen caps myself, I would be lost without groups like this. I hope that one day I can contribute as well, to give back to everyone who has helped me out so much.

Cap requests part deux

Okay, the last time I posted a list of my movies, this time it is a list of my movies and my brothers movies, and I've gotten a few since the last time, which puts the movie list up to about 124 DVDs. There's bound to be something someone likes, yeah?
I'm only taking requests today and tomorrow. After that, sorry.
Be as specific as you can about when the scene in the movie is.(Beginning, middle, end, 30 minutes in, 10 minutes before the end, something) I haven't even seen all of these movies, let alone all of them enough to know when each part is. Please only request a scene, asking for a certain character at any time in the movie is kind of time consuming. You can request particular scenes from multiple movies, just not too many. Try to limit your requests to a total of three scenes. Keep in mind that others have requests too. :)
Please look through this list and this communities memories before requesting caps. No point in capping stuff thats been done before, yeah? Also, please only request if you actually want the caps for something, like icon making, not just cause you want to look at the pretty pictures, hehe. I know most people won't do this, but I've almost requested stuff for the sake of pretty pictures before.
