PowerDVD capping problems

Hi..im new to this community.
anyways, I have the PowerDVD that was already installed on my dell computer, and a lot of people say that you cant cap with that version.
but in one of the posts in here, it said that you could cap with this version of PDVD by pressing ALT+PrintScreen. I tryed it, and it worked!!!
but then I went to take another cap, and it didnt work! I've tried it over and over, and it wont work anymore!!!!!!
im so confused!!!
please help!!!!!!!
are there any other keys that I could push to cap with this version?
+ I also have Windows Media Player, Windows Movie Maker, & Dell Media Experience (all of these programs were pre-installed on my computer when I got it)..will any of those work, because I have played around with them but I still couldnt figure out a way to cap...
--and if I have to buy the "real" version of powerDVD so I will be able to take screencaps, am I able to buy it in stores? because I really dont want to download a free version or whatever (im afraid that I will get a computer virus). also, what version will let me take caps? I checked on bestbuy.com and PowerDVD 5 Deluxe showed up, will that take caps?

sorry I have so many questions, but PDVD is driving me nuts!!!!!
please please help me :/
