Problem with PowerDVD

I'm having a lot of trouble concerning capturing images with PowerDVD. I understand how to do it but when the image is transferred directly into one of my folders it comes out instead as a large green image and not of the screenshot. I've heard that print screen would be much less effective so I'm hoping I can figure out what's wrong with my configuration under PowerDVD. Does anyone have any possible solution on what I'm doing wrong? I'm trying to upload the caps to Animation Shop 3 but so far I haven't made any progress...
