Actually I'm having second thoughts on ever stopping for Chris M after watching this trailer. lol

capathon.livejournal.comPlease be aware that though screen captures are allowed from titles that are not yet released to own, it is polite to warn your journal viewers of any possible spoilers your screen captures (and samples, if posted). With the excitement of the newest Harry Potter movie now showing at the cinema, an even more excitement rises with people trying to find movie torrents available to screen cap. Regardless if your spoilers are directly posted on the community or linked in another journal, it is polite to let your viewers know about spoilers.
Also, a refresh of some rules. I am currently adding the entries in 2009 (almost done!) to the memories and find some rules clearly being violated.
1. Read the rules. If you have time to post, you have time to read the rules.
2. Post any and all images behind cuts. I had to remove entries that contained images outside the cut prior to May 2009 entries. There were A LOT of people who bypass this rule and I am not going to contact each of those members with the rules. Not my job to follow you. You should know the rules.
3. Do not disable comments. Mods need a way to contact you if your entry needs to be revised.
4. Add a subject title. If your post has a "(no subject)" title, your entry will be removed. No exceptions.
5. Do not post entries that can only be accessed "friend only" or "member only". Your screen captures must be available to the public. Do not post entries that have any sort of time limit for when the screen captures remain public. Any entries found violating this rule will be removed without warning. This is a screen capturing community, not an advertising community for your own journal/ community.
6. Comment and credit when downloading and using screen captures from a capper. You must follow their rules. For cappers, though you can specify your own rules, don't be discouraged if comments are not left int he correct designated entry (on cap_it) or on your own journal/ community entry.
7. Don't use tags. I am adding the entries to the memories every weekend so your entries will be added.
Lastly, thank you to all who have posted and continue to post screen captures on cap_it. Very much appreciated. Thank you :]
