As you may or may not know, the marvelous, wonderful, awe-inspiring Rankin-Bass film The Last Unicorn finally came out on DVD in the US last week. It's not a great transfer, and the packaging and special features suck, but it's a beautiful film and a huge part of my childhood, so I'm thrilled. Naturally that meant I screencapped it as soon as humanly possible - and now I'm in posession of half a gig of screencaps.

I don't have time to convert 500+ screencaps to reasonable uploading size right now, but if anyone wants a cap from this movie, I probably have it. Just let me know.

oooh... my favourite movie EVER... gosh, I would love to do some icons for that movie but I don't really know which scenes.. could you just zip me some screens with the unicorn, and the bull, and some of them together from the ending and send them to me? That would be awesome!!

I'd love some too. I still use the copy I had when I was little. (I'm 21 now) I have the whole movie memorized. o_o I can't really think of anything specific though. Amalthea and Lir together would be nice. And just some random pretty shots of the Unicorn. =)

Ah, you're my hero! I had no idea this just came out on dvd. I'll go searching my local stores very soon... but I was wondering if you mind doing a zip of some particular scenes for me? :)

If it please you, could you find me any of:

1) when Schmendrick sees the unicorn for the first time, laying on the side of road
2) Schmendrick and the unicorn at the Midnight Carnival, when he frees her
3) Schmendrick juggling
4) the scene where King Haggard looks into Amalthea's eyes and sees the forest in her pupils, etc
