I tried to go for quality over quantity, but the DVD's original dimension was weird and squished, like it was a widescreen movie condensed into regular. I unset the aspect ratio fixation so I could watch the movie at a more normal picture, however, the captures could only be taken with the original DVD dimensions. Sorry. :( Mads is still cute though. He has adorable hair. :P

One thing you might want to check for that DVD is if there's a 'video' or 'picture' setting on it from the main menu. I know some of my DVDs are like that as well, and it's because the widescreen movie, for some reason, has the option to be viewed in the 4:3 (full screen) setting, which would do exactly what you're describing. :) Just a suggestion, maybe it'll help.

I looked at the menu of the DVD, but all it had was Play Movie, Scene Selection, and Special Feature (which was a collage of the movie scenes with some neat music), nothing about video of picture. :/
