hey all you capper mens & womens. I just bought a dvd burner/rom and now have powerdvd 5. can someone teach me to cap, because i have some dvds..well only four but hey:
benny & joon <---johnny depp :)
the craft
sleepy hollow <---johnny depp :)
whats eating gilbert grape <---johnny depp :)
I know you click on the picture of the camera, or just hit the "c" button to make a single cap, but is it possible to cap the whole DVD automattically or something to that effect. Sorry if it's a silly question. Thanks for all the help and if you'd like one of the above dvd's capped, just comment, thanks again!

Date: 2004-12-14 02:35 am (UTC)I do cap entire movies at once though, I set it to cap to file (its in configuration somewhere), then I fast forward (the faster it is, the fewer caps you get) and then hold down the C button. Then I wind up with a couple hundred caps of the whole movie, I go through and delete the bad ones (like where people are sitting there with their mouth hanging open), and then batch convert and upload what's left.
You do tend to miss things, so I avoid it with really good movies, but it's a quick and easy way to cap.
