Question about power dvd

Hello all, I have seen a couple of you here talk about making screen caps with Power DVD, what exactly is it? Is it something on your computer or dvd player? is is hard to use? what is a good price for it? thanks to any replies.

It's software that you download and then pay for. Go to "google.com" and type in "PowerDVD" and it'll take you to the site.

You've got to have a dvd-rom, and PowerDVD is software that you can download a demo for, buy, or it comes with some versions of Windows XP. It runs DVDs through your DVD-Rom, and it's good (better than a lot of programs) for taking screencaps. One of my good friends bought it for 50, but I've heard of people getting it from computer fairs for as little as 30.
