I know I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, but please remember to put your movie/video title in the subject line of your post, especially if you are posting a request. This is not just a simple courtesy, it is a rule, which can be found here.

I have had to remind several members of this over the past few days. If I, or any of the other Mods, have to remind anyone after this post, warnings will be issued instead of reminders. As it states in the group's rules and guidelines, 2 warnings from any Mod will get you banned from the group.

I have linked to the rules a total of 3 times in this post. That makes 3 opportunities to read them over, so please take the time to do so.

I have a question about one of the rules. It says we're not supposed to edit our caps unless it improves the quality, and we're not supposed to crop them. Sometimes I crop the black window box out to save what little hard drive space I can, it never cuts into the picture itself, does that matter at all?
Also, when I take screen caps they are huge, but it's the only way I can take them without the aspect ratio being off. My husband was yelling at me about hard drive space, and so I resized a set to about 75% of the original (which made it 720x400 or something, around the size my caps used the be before I fixed the aspect ratio thing), and the only thing it changed in the image was it got rid of some graininess and the image was smaller, but still pretty big, and still good quality.
Is that okay? I'd hate to get banned, this is one of my favorite communities.

The things you describe are absolutely fine. They are changes that can only enhance the quality of your original screencaps. Don't worry, sweetie. You won't be banned for that.

Since you've brought this up, do you have any suggestions on re-wording that particular rule in the userinfo? I love to get feedback from members, especially regarding matters such as these. What would Cap It be without it's followers? lol

I noticed that you all archive the comm, especially requests. I was trying to find mine that I put up in March, but it wasn't in the memories so I had to go back...granted, I didn't follow the rules as far as subject lines go, so I fixed it and was wondering if you could add this to the archive so someone might see it to fill it?
