Scap It!

At peacefully's suggestion (thank you, sweetie!) I have added a small clause (shown here in italics) to one of the group rules so that there won't be any confusion regarding what is acceptable in a screencap. If anyone else has any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact one of the Mods - anesthezea/adolwyn/dancethetango. Everyone is always welcome to discuss any and all aspects of the group with the Moderators - be it questions about group policy, or suggestions for bettering the group as a whole. 

This community is for screencaps only. Do not post icons or other graphics. A screencap is an unaltered image captured from a video source. They are not resized, cropped, or otherwise adjusted, unless the adjustments improve the image's quality. For example: correcting brightness or contrast in an image that is too dark / cropping away the blackspace around a cap, usually from dvds in widescreen format / resizing an image to save hard drive/web space while keeping it's original aspect ratio.

First, I would like to apologize to all members of the community for my slowness in updating the memories, and for my inattention to group matters over the past week. I've been very busy with real life and have not been able to devote proper attention to the comm. or it's members. I have chosen one moderator, so far, and we are currently discussing ways to improve the group, yet maintain a fresh and fun atmosphere for all. I am still in discussion with the 2nd moderator candidate, but hope that things will be settled with her within the next few days.

I've already given adolwyn moderator status, so please welcome her to the team with open arms! Once the 2nd moderator is in place, the three of us will begin going over all of the posts that I have not been able to archive, as well as tightening the rules. The rules as they stand at the moment did well enough when there were less than 100 members in the group, but now that we are pushing 340 members, the same rules just won't do. There are other changes planned for the future, but rest assured that they are all good things that won't bite. ^_^x

That said, I'm going to get some shut eye. Goodnight all!

There was a very positive response to the request question the other day. Thanks, everyone! I've gone through the group and gathered all of the cap requests that have yet to be filled and added them to a special section in the group's memories - Cap Requests - Please Help. I've also updated the rules and userinfo page. Aren't I being a nice, non-procrastinating list mommy? lol.
