[identity profile] anesthezea.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] scap_it

At [livejournal.com profile] peacefully's suggestion (thank you, sweetie!) I have added a small clause (shown here in italics) to one of the group rules so that there won't be any confusion regarding what is acceptable in a screencap. If anyone else has any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact one of the Mods - [livejournal.com profile] anesthezea/[livejournal.com profile] adolwyn/[livejournal.com profile] dancethetango. Everyone is always welcome to discuss any and all aspects of the group with the Moderators - be it questions about group policy, or suggestions for bettering the group as a whole.

This community is for screencaps only. Do not post icons or other graphics. A screencap is an unaltered image captured from a video source. They are not resized, cropped, or otherwise adjusted, unless the adjustments improve the image's quality. For example: correcting brightness or contrast in an image that is too dark / cropping away the blackspace around a cap, usually from dvds in widescreen format / resizing an image to save hard drive/web space while keeping it's original aspect ratio.

With all that said, I'm going off to do some oggling capping of a certain Mr. Richard Sharpe!

It would be great if people actually followed the rules too. I know you just posted about the subject, etc. rule earlier today, so hopefully that will have some impact on the posts from here on out. *crosses fingers*

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm glad I wasn't doing anything wrong. :)
